About Us
J. Wesley Atkinson
J. Wesley Atkinson, has a varied background in litigation, business formation, legal documents and real estate law. He recently decided to establish his own law practice after working as the Assistant Counsel for Redstone Title Services for over a decade. While there, he assisted clients with Title Searches, Title Claims and Real Estate Closings.
Originally born in Madison County and raised in the farming communities of both Limestone and Morgan County, Wes has a deep appreciation for hard-working people. His father helped to instill this in him when he was young, to ensure that his son would always stay well grounded.
Wes received his undergraduate degree from Auburn University and later graduated with his Juris Doctor from the Birmingham School of Law in 2010. Following graduation, he joined the law practice of Sarah Taggart for several years. His first experiences and knowledge working with evictions for clients, was the foundation for opening his new office.
Wes is wholeheartedly committed to providing trustworthy, efficient and above all, excellent legal representation to the people of North Alabama. Currently, Wes resides in Decatur, AL with his wife, Dr. Kimberly Welden-Atkinson, D.M.D., and their son, John Elias.
